*WORKSHOP – Job Search Tips for New Graduates
– Thursday, January 8, 11:00 AM, QLC 208
– Graduating in December 2014? This two-hour presentation will provide tips to jump start your after-graduation job search: developing an effective resume and cover letter, preparing for a successful interview, and identifying useful job search resources. Helpful take-away resources will be available!

*INTERNSHIP – US – JICPAC
– 2015 Fall Semester Academic Intern Program
– This program is open only to those enrolled as full-time undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students at a U. S. accredited institution.
– Completion of 60 semester hours or its equivalent at the time of employment.
– A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent at the time of application.
– The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Academic Semester Internship Program provides promising undergraduate seniors and graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through temporary employment with DIA while enrolled in school in areas such as Analytics, Mission Services, Collection and Information Systems.

– 2015 Fall Cooperative Education
– This program is open only to those enrolled as full-time undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students at a U. S. accredited institution with a recognized COOP agreement.
– Completion of 60 semester hours or its equivalent at the time of employment.
– A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent at the time of application.
– The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Cooperative Education Program (CO-OP) provides a select number of talented undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in combination with their academic studies. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking to serve their country to participate in the critical work of the Agency through an extended work period, in areas such as Analytics, Mission Services, Collection and Information Systems.

*COOP – US – Navy, Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard
– PHNSY – IMF Engineering Co-op (Summer 2015)
– Jr. Sr., Grad. in EE, ME, CE; min. 2.8 gpa, preferred. Will consider sophomores if completed Chem, Physics and some engineering courses. Completion of all sophomore coursework at time of first work cycle is preferred.
– Ability to work in an industrial shipyard environment which may involve climbing, working in a submarine, and exposure to noise, dust, dirt and chemicals.
– Participants will complete assigned duties, tasks, readings, and developmental activities specified in the program. Work assignments may include word processing, AUTOCAD work, completion of courses in basic reactor theory, radiological controls, mechanical and electrical systems, welding, materials and non-destructive test engineering. Other assignments may include the performance of ship checks, ship plan/drawing reviews and research, and assisting with technical work document preparation.

– Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant
– Staff Accountant: entry level or 1-2 years’ experience; CPA candidate preferred.
Senior Accountant: 3 years public accounting experience; CPA preferred.
– Prepare income tax returns for individual, trust, business and non-profit organization.
– Conduct tax and accounting research.
– Prepare compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements.
