INDOPACOM-UHM MENTORING PROGRAM FOR INTELLIGENCE
If you are considering a career with the US Intelligence Community, take advantage of this unique, competitive, and prestigious engagement and preparation opportunity offered in a partnership between the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and the United States Indo-Pacific Command.
The INDOPACOM-UHM Mentoring Program for Intelligence is offered to students throughout UH Mānoa, but anchored in the College of Social Sciences Internship program. It offers, but is not limited to, the following experiences:
- Seminars in a virtual learning format with guest speakers from multiple agencies
- Dedicated mentoring with Intelligence professionals
- Research on an intelligence topic chosen together by students and the mentors and presented before senior executive government leaders
- Head start in the competitive application process to work in the Intelligence Communities
- Exposure to how to use intelligence to protect regional and national interests
Program requirements: Applicants must be US Citizens and enroll for 3 credits for the Fall 2021 semester in SOCS 489-001 (CRN 83708), taught by the CSS Director for Civic Engagement, Dr. Ulla Hasager.
