Do some early Christmas shopping! With donations from over 50 companies, this year's Silent Auction must not be missed. Browse through this website to view the items that we will be auctioning off on Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Queen Liliuokalani Center for Student Services Lobby and Lanai. If you have questions about any of the auction items, contact us.

How do I place a bid?

  1. Browse through the large variety of auction items online. This is not an online auction. The live event will be held between 10:30 and 1:30 at the Craft Fair & Silent Auction on November 18, 2011 on the Queen Lili‘uokalani Center for Student Services (QLCSS) Lānai.

  2. On the day of the event, visit the auction table. You can view some of the items we have available, sign up for a bidder’s number and be given a packet of all the auction items and bidding instructions.

  3. All the bid sheets will be posted by categories. Each sheet will list the item number, a short description, starting bid amount and minimum bid increments. We will have a photocopy of the actual certificate, so please read carefully before bidding. Remember to bid by the minimum increments. If your bid is not within the correct increment, an auction monitor will automatically void your bid.

  4. We’ve added a new feature! If you find something you must have now and are willing to pay the retail price for it (Remember it’s a donation for a great cause!) we’ve created a “Buy It Now” option. Remove the bid sheet and turn it in with your payment to an auction monitor for immediate processing.

  5. Promptly at 1:30 the auction will be closed and we will review all the bid sheets, announce the winners and start contacting them to pick up their items. We accept cash, check and visa/mc charges. Most winners will have one week to pick up and make payment at the Mānoa Career Center in QLCSS 212. We request that winners of perishable goods pick their items up on Friday between 2:30-5:00pm.

Things to remember:

All bids are final when the auction closes so bid responsibly. Bidders will be sanctioned from participating in future events if items are left unclaimed. Mānoa Career Center will cancel/refund payments only in cases where the item was not as advertised.
