Co-op is a nation-wide, work experience program that formally integrates students academic and career interests with productive work experiences. The Co-op partnership offers employers an opportunity to recruit talented, trainable prospective employees and gives students an opportunity to gain paid, career related experience.

  • Cooperative education (Co-op) is a three-part working relationship in which a college or a university joins with an employer in a structured, academic relationship that benefits the student, the employer and the institution of higher learning.

  • Co-op participants have worked as auditors, engineers, journalists, software testers, buyers, managers, environmental assistants, teachers, and market researchers to name only a portion of our partnerships.

How much do Co-op students usually get paid?

  • Co-op students are capable of handling relatively high-level tasks and they average about $13.00 per hour. The general range is between $10.00-18.00 depending on the organization and the responsibilities assigned.
