Dr. Bejder is the head of the Murdoch University’s Cetacean Research Unit (MUCRU). MUCRU is a dynamic research entity, with an international reputation for high quality, quantitative and innovative marine mammal research. Dr. Bejder's research interests include:
1) population biology, ecology and behavioral ecology of marine megafauna;
2) assessment of human activity impacts (e.g. coastal development, tourism, habitat
degradation) on cetaceans;
3) wildlife conservation and management; and
4) public outreach and community engagement.
