Rodney P. Santos Scholarship

Rodney P. Santos, retired educator and founding member and former President of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences Alumni Association (CASAA), established a scholarship fund to encourage undergraduate students in their pursuit of a liberal arts education. Up to five (5) students will receive cash awards of $1,000 each to assist them with their education expenses.

CASAA was established in 1993 to “serve as a valuable link between the Colleges and the community in promoting awareness and appreciation of, and pride in, the lifetime value of a liberal education obtained from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.”

To be eligible for the Rodney P. Santos Scholarship, a student must be a graduate of a Hawai'i high school; be a full-time junior or senior at UH Manoa with a declared Arts and Sciences major; have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5; have some degree of financial need; and have already received or intend to receive 50% of the undergraduate degree requirements from UH Manoa.

Click here to download the 2015 Rodney P. Santos Scholarship application form.  Application packets must be complete and submitted to the Colleges of Arts & Sciences Office of Community and Alumni Relations in Hawaii Hall 311 by 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
