Curating a Decolonial Guide to Hawaii


The first event of our talk series features Vernadette Vicuna Gonzalez, the author of Securing Paradise: Tourism and Militarism in Hawaiʻi and the Philippines (Duke University Press, 2013). She will share stories about the process of curating and editing an alternative guidebook to Hawaiʻi. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Manoa School of Music & the Arts from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
