Things to Consider: Sophomores

Now that you’ve had a full year of college, you may feel like you are in a “sweet spot” – you know enough about college life to take care of the basics and graduation is still far off.

Enjoy your sophomore status, but don’t go into cruise control. Build on what you’ve learned over the past year by learning more about your major, firming up your educational plan, getting involved or more involved in co-curricular activities and visit the Manoa Career Center to start building a resume and a portfolio of accomplishments. It’s also common at this time to question your goals, major and activities. Don’t worry, see an advisor in the Advising Center and follow up on our sophomore checklist and resources.
