Request for Reconsideration/Redirection
Appeal of Admissions Decision
The Office of Admissions issues many admissions decisions and would like to give applicants an opportunity to be reconsidered for admission to UH Manoa. A request for reconsideration is a chance for applicants to provide additional information to the Admissions Committee for further review of their application. The reconsideration process does not guarantee that the initial decision by the Admissions Committee will be overturned.

Submit the completed Admissions Appeal Form and supporting documentation to the Office of Admissions by the stated deadline. Once the information is received, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for reconsideration. A decision letter will be sent after a decision has been made.

Redirection of Application
Another option for applicants is to enroll at another UH System campus and apply to UH Manoa at a later date.
Redirection Form [Form-fillable PDF]
Submit the completed Application Redirect Form to the Office of Admissions by the stated deadline. Once the Redirect Form is received, the application will be forwarded to the selected UH System campus.
The deadline to submit an Appeal of Admissions Decision Form or a Redirection of Application Form are as follows:
- Fall Applicants: June 1
- Spring Applicants: November 1
