UH Manoa classroom

With almost 90 majors and more than 30 minors, UH Mānoa provides you with plenty of choices. And once you decide on a major, our faculty-student ratio of one faculty member for every 16 students means you will get the individualized attention you need to succeed.

In addition, UH Mānoa offers a variety of opportunities to enhance your learning outside the classroom—from undergraduate research to study abroad options in Europe, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and beyond.

Below are links to just a few of the many academic resources and opportunities available at UH Mānoa.

Reef Research Missions

Automated Underwater Vehicle

The Reef Missions project uses data and images collected by an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to develop marine science education units for high school classes. The AUV can be programmed and controlled by students to take measurements such as water temperature and quality.
